    question about cycling

a buddy of mine was telling me that he was told to take break from the gear for about a week or 2 mid cycle and run hcg on that break then jump back on again...all he really told me was that its because your body gets used to being on...can anyone explain this a little better for me....cause it makes sence but how valid or effective is that???? thanx guys

man, that is really not a good idea.

HCG is to be run along with your AAS, at doses of 500iu / week (2 injections per week at 250iu each) or during PCT.. not during a "mid cycle" break as your buddy calls it

when you take AAS, your body ceases it's natural testosterone production, and PCT will bring it back.

HCG allows your body to continue to produce this natural testosterone, even while on AAS.. making it easier to "come off"

i didnt think it was a smart idea either....thats why i had to ask. cause in all honesty it made a little bit of sense to me, but i also have read somewhere about double mini cycles and after reading the brief explaination of it i had to ask him about what he was told just to make sure...and now im here out of curiousity....thanx for the post

Basically everyone has a buddy who tells them this and that, the best thing to do is actually do the research yourself. Think about it you are putting foreign things into your body and you have no idea how to properly use them or the effects they will have on you. I suggest reading the stickies and educating yourself. why would you put your health and possibly injuring yourself permanently in the hands of your "buddy".

i dont recall saying anything about doing it, but i did say, "OUT OF CURIOSITY". also, as you can clearly see now...i agreed with Vull. i asked a simple question out of CURIOSITY and if you read a little bit farther you would have seen that i also read about something similar to what he was telling me, but the explaination was very brief. so i figured ide come to the one place i know for a fact has answers...isnt that what the point of the forum is "steroid Q & A"...with that being said, i suggest actually reading whats been written, opposed to skimming it and making an assumtion, so you have an idea how to properly respond to the post.
