Infra red sauna crap GRRRRR

So i got this great deal on an infra red sauna 2 years ago great 1200$ with tax and everything, you can sit 3 people in it so its pretty big too.

I got an electrician to do the wiring of that shit, and i was all set up for some relating moments.

After 3 months something smelled burning, so i checked and the wiring of the sauna where the controller was, melted. I was freaken pissed off. I called the guy that sold me that sauna and it was not covered GRRRRRR so i paid 200$ to have it repaired.

It happened again a year later and now it just happened again. I am mad and i don't want to pay for any cheap shit like that anymore.

I don't know if i can do that but i was thinking of converting my infra red sauna which is basically a small box 7 feet by 4 feet and putting in maybe another type of device that can heat it up, that i could plug into the wall, or some other kind of heating.

Anyone as any suggestions how i could heat that thing? a part from throwing that sauna away. I am sure there is something to do with this other then paying another damn 200$ to have that shit repaired.

If i could see it in person i could fix it for you, and fix it for good. It's more than likely a failed seal, and moisture is reaching the electrical components causing voltage spikes.

I called a guy that sells sauna all kinds, out doors and more, he told me that its not the first time he eared that story about wires melting. He says that most places that sell infra red sauna stop selling them because people have been having bunch of problems with them, and that the internal system is very weak.

I had my installation inspected by an electrician and he told me the same thing, he said that everything was fine with my installation, from the breaker, i put in a thicker electrical wire because that's 220 volts going in there, i also put in a special plug that sort of acts like a power bar. 3 times that this has happened and the breaker never jumped. We have a microwave that is plugged on one breaker and when there is too much going on it will jump and we need to restart it.

The guy i called told me that my best option is an electrical heater that i would put inside the sauna and i can plug into the 220 volt plug. No wiring, no control panel, i can adjust the heater inside the sauna and it will not be infra red but it will be more of a Scandinavian type of sauna.

I do have the sauna in my basement but we are summer time now but we do have a moisture remover, last 2 times it happened it was during winter time and there was no moisture then. The basement was dry has hell.

Not sure where it was made, anyways my girlfriend as a friend who works in place that sell sauna, she told me they got a electrical heating system like a small boiler with rocks and its made for interior sauna, i will look into that.

You know what fukk it then, its almost paid for anyways, i got maybe 200$ left to pay on that crap. I will get a membership to my old gym for the swimming pool, vapor sauna and cold tub, with hot tub its cheap if you don't take the gym and cardio for a year.

Since i train in my basement i can go to the gym for sauna twice a week in the morning when there is absolutely no one there.

Not going to risk paying 800$ for another type of heating system to have it break again....
