    Flu from cardio?

    i have been over sees working so i dont get on here that much. i just got back to the states and went on a hike this past sunday.. got my heart rate way up and broke out into a great sweat. wekk monday i felt reallly sore of course but also had a fever and headache... is it possible to get the flu from cardio? shock maybe? cuz it had been several months since i got to do any... thanks for any info, its wnzday and i still feel like shit been taken ibuprof 800mg 3x a day

    I haven't heard of getting flu from just doing cardio. What is the weather like where you are at? Are you sure it wasn't something you ate? I would go to the doctor and get yourself checked out, maybe get some antibiotics. I highly doubt it was from the cardio though.

    i dont know but whenever it take pr start mast and do alot of cardio i seem to get bronchitis

    I just figured I shocked my body cuz I havnt done cardio in forever. I'm gna see dr, if it don't clear up.. Fever and headache sux...

    I have a mate who like the rowing machines in the gym. When he over does it slightly, he comes down with flu like symptoms for a few days after. Never happened to me personally, maybe that means i'm lazy or not working hard enough? lol
