Depends on volume/intensity. When I did my power/hypertrophy program, my " lower power" 5x5 day consisted of Back Squats and Conventional Deadlifts in the same session. It was taxing on the CNS, only enough to bring just enough stimulation to grow, yet not over train. Diet and recovery plays a roll in whether you can handle both in one day as well.

For my powerlifting program I have a seperate day for squats and deadlifts, but I have a few high rep low weight warmup squat sets before I do deadlifts on back day, I used to do both on the same day but it was too hard and I would be too weak after

I do them on the same day. I feel a little tired more on my deadlift but keep it intense and push yourself you should be fine. Just watch and see how long your recovery time is

I would not do them on the same day IMO. For me anyway...there is way too much energy expended doing these lifts....if I did them both on the same day...one or the other (which ever one I did last) would suffer. That is just me though.......I am not as young as some of you guys out there...

It's a full body exercise that's dominated more so from your lower half. Glutes, hams, quads, and hip flexors are taxed/recruited the most along with core stabilization.

I combine my heavy deads day with my DE squat day. I do my 10x2 on box squats after I do heavy deads. But I only use 50-60% of my squat max on those box squats. I do add bands and chains as well.

If your legs are more sore then your back after deads you are doing them wrong. You do deads when you do your back and squats with legs. Do your best to seperate them bye a few days, or atleast not on back to back days. I dont know anyone doing a BBing split that does Deads with legs. If your a Powerlifter I can see you doing both in the same day, but other then that its not a good idea. I do a similar split to yours, I DC train and I do Chest/Shoulder/Tri/Back width/back thinkess in one day(deadlift) and then Bi/forearms/hams/quads/calfes in the other alternating back and forth every M/W/F.

Im not telling you to switch you training but this is the more conventional way and think you'll progress much better on deads if you dont squat before them
