I agree with the above foods, those will help but if you are still having problems my doc prescribed Dyazide 1 every 2 to 3 days to help me shed some excess water during my first cycle. My slightly elevated BP went right away.

when on a cycle I donate blood to combat the high RBC count that causes blood pressure spikes. Take a baby asprin everyday that helps too, along with what has been said above

Giving blood and asprin will do nothing for BP, follow Swifto's advice.

Baby asprin and from what the doc tells me get rid of the caffeine. Does any one know if Tadalifil and sildenifil lower bp while using them. I'm not suggesting as a use for that but wondering if it does

AI's will lower BP in most men. Some use BP meds like Lisinopril to control BP.

We have one of those blood preasure things here at work. It's right outside our human resources department. I use it every once in a while but they sure are handy. Follow swiftos advice and monitor it and if it doesn't correct itself then see your doc.

I dont like suggestions of meds to lower BP. Those meds often bring their own side effects. We too much of a pill popping generation now.

    Try adjusting your diet.

I also forgot onions (quercetin) is a rather potent compound at reducing BP.

Quercetin Reduces Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Subjects1,2

Epidemiological studies report that quercetin, an antioxidant flavonol found in apples, berries, and onions, is associated with reduced risk of coronary heart disease and stroke. Quercetin supplementation also reduces blood pressure in hypertensive rodents. The efficacy of quercetin supplementation to lower blood pressure in hypertensive humans has never been evaluated. We tested the hypothesis that quercetin supplementation reduces blood pressure in hypertensive patients. We then determined whether the antihypertensive effect of quercetin is associated with reductions in systemic oxidant stress. Men and women with prehypertension (n = 19) and stage 1 hypertension (n = 22) were enrolled in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study to test the efficacy of 730 mg quercetin/d for 28 d vs. placebo. Blood pressure (mm Hg, systolic/diastolic) at enrollment was 137 ± 2/86 ± 1 in prehypertensives and 148 ± 2/96 ± 1 in stage 1 hypertensive subjects. Blood pressure was not altered in prehypertensive patients after quercetin supplementation. In contrast, reductions in (P < 0.01) systolic (–7 ± 2 mm Hg), diastolic (–5 ± 2 mm Hg), and mean arterial pressures (–5 ± 2 mm Hg) were observed in stage 1 hypertensive patients after quercetin treatment. However, indices of oxidant stress measured in the plasma and urine were not affected by quercetin. These data are the first to our knowledge to show that quercetin supplementation reduces blood pressure in hypertensive subjects. Contrary to animal-based studies, there was no quercetin-evoked reduction in systemic markers of oxidative stress.

Swifto's reply is spot on, nutritional correction is always better than medicating the symptoms. I really hate the shortcut approach of modern medicine of treating the symptom rather than the cause.

I am curious in a healthy individual what harm is done by a month or two of moderately high blood pressure?

While in many cases I would agree, the problem here is that we know the cause: increased hematocrit/water retention/glycogen retention from steroids. The cause is not a natural one, so why should the treatment be? If some diet tweaking is enough to bring down the BP, then that's great, but it likely will be too little too late if you're getting some serious BP issues. If this is the case, I would recommend first Aromasin to lower water retention from any aromatising compounds, then 20mg daily of Cialis if the BP isn't just from excess water weight.
