    What's up with the hernia?

Just got done with legs and went through a full squat routine and then moved over to the leg press. I stacked a few wheels and went one-legged. My last set I literally almost got a hernia? Any ideas as to why this if anything would almost happen at that time? Was I compromised because I went through my squat routine?

No pain it was just a sensitivity located on the lower left quadrant. The best description is where the V comes down right along there medial from hip.

You can try using a preasure band to keep your guts held in tight. Can usually get them at the pharmacy like CVS or Rite Aid.

I've only had this one other time when I tried to go heavy on a Smith Machine Squat a few years back. It seems machines don't treat me so well.

I got a small umbilical hernia 3-4 years ago doing light squats...just a bit of a wrong step during my rerack. Wear that lifting belt man...the better form I have, the better it feels. Same thing with good breathing techniques...make sure you don't hold your breath while your pushing out that last rep.
