    just more cardio?

    im 6'1" 245. 29 yrs old bout 18%bf training since high school. on my fourth cycle now and have yet to get absolutely chizzled? my diet is tight when im on and not so tight when im off, do to my career. bench 400 squat 500 deadlift 500. im fairly satisfied with those weights just would love to get rid of these love handles and lower back fat! i understand that they are genetic just want your input to help me break the mold......

    What's your cardio schedule like now?

    What's your exact diet?

    i do at least 25 min 3 times a week. my diet... 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight, eat seven times a day with equal part carbs with breakfast lunch and dinner. eat lean meat mostly chicken and some pork and eat wat i want usually on sunday for one meal. my carbs are 90% good carbs

    D7M i think your the only one that answers any of my questions, i appreciate it.

    No problem, man.

    Without seeing your whole diet I can't really comment, but 25min of cardio is nothing. If you want to get lean, then start hitting that cardio.

    You can try bumping it up to 45min ED.

    And don't feel trapped by being on an elliptical or treadmill. Go outside and ride your bike, or jog or whatever so cardio doesn't become boring and tedious.

    ummmmm?....... maybe in april as of now i have three feet of snow out there. also D7M after i finish my current cycle (end of march) i play very competitive mens softball and would like to run a lil sompthin for the occasion... any suggestions, sompthin mild for the summer no need to grow maybe trim up and maintain?

    Well you can still hit the cardio up at the gym till the snow melts.

    Feel free to start a thread in the QA on your cycle so you'll get several opinions on it.

    The most glaring issue I see is the "diet is tight when I am not, not when I am off". That tells me your diet is off around 50% of the time. Unless you are naturally very lean you wont get lean on that schedule. Next, just cause 90% of your carbs are good carbs doesnt mean you wont wear them as bodyfat if it's too many carbs. And last, as D7M already stated, unless that 25 minutes of cardio is ultra high intensity it's not nearly enough to change your appearance unless your diet is already set at well below maintenence levels.

    jesus....... didnt think any one else was gona answer me. thanks alot fireguy will tighten up my diet in the "off" mode and jack up the cardio. again greatly appreciated!

    Many times if no one else is answering (at least in my case) it's because I feel the advice you are receiving is good. In this case D7M was already telling you exacty what I would have, I just added a one more thing to it.
