    Home gyms

Interested in finding a good home gym, something I can put into an apartment, that can fold up.

Specifically I'm just looking for something I can do upper body exercises with, nothing else.

Maybe a bow flex? Let me know.

go to a GYM....take it from me, anything you buy for home , you will use it for a while then put it away for good , and never use it again, ESPECIALLY something that folds up... i've spent before ( when i was in canada) 6000 dollars on a home gym and some other equipment, i used for a while and that was it... ended up selling everything.... when you get home, you see your gym equipment, then you see your nice couch/sofa and TV...eventually you are going to be choosing that sofa and tv more often....IF you go to a GYM, you know, you have to leave the house and do the work. and since you already paid you are going to go... its a even worst idea IF you live in an apartment....i sold mine and i had everything in a garage....another good thing of going to a gym, is you gt motivated with other people around you

I think unless you have a lot of room to dedicate to your equipment then a home gym is a waste. I have a multi position bench and a squat rack as well as a cable pulldown machine for lats and triceps. I also have a two olympic bars one for T bar lat work and the other for general use. A bunch of dumbells as well as an ajustable angle sit up board.

Still with all this its no substitute for the gym the only thing I really do at home is ab work, If I was going to do it again I would just focus on ab and cardio as fasted cardio is much easier to do at home than making a trip all the way to the gym.

You don't need to buy anything for fasted cardio, maybe a pair of trainers or a push bike, I love going out on the bike early morning before breakfast.

Things I would look for to set up a home gym, dumbbells , adjustable incline bench, ez bar, Olympic bar, plates, cable tower( one stack if limited for space) , pull up bar, mirror lol.

Im gonna have to agree with the others and try to persuade you to buy a membership. However, I have seen some apartments have some pretty decent exercise rooms.
