LOL, the last part was funny, pvssy... It was kind of cool the cat was actually being sort of protective and obvious curious about the baby deer. The mother was having nothing to do with the dog though...

Ive actually seen a baby a few hours younger than that. Probably less than 1hr old. I was stupid enough to walk up to it also knowing the mother was probably very near by. I had all my riding gear on though including helmet, full body armor, boots etc but I'm sure I would have gotten some good bruises still if the mother attached. I came less than a foot away but never touched it.
