Gym is closing for new construction - What to do?????

So just 4 weeks into my Lean Bulk and I see an announ***ent that our Gym is going to close for 5-10 days for a buildout or remodeling or something. This really sucks. I've seen really good gains these last four weeks and the last thing I want to do is take time off. I've been training pretty heavy and now I don't know what to do. Can push-ups, bench dips, dumbell curls, etc, help with building or do I just need to plan on not getting any gains during this time?

I can take a break on legs, (they're too big anyway-well in comparison to the rest of my body) and I have some 20lb dumbells that I could use to do a few weak bi and tri workouts...I guess my main concern is chest and back.

    Any recommendations would be great.

    Thanks

Go to another gym, many offer a free week or two.

Not sure if any gyms around here offer the free week without signing a contract. Vegas is decent size, but there's really only 3 or 4 gyms with multiple locations. I don't think any offer free weeks, but I'll check it out.

You can always "make friends" with someone at another gym and have them bring you in as a guest?

Have you met anybody in Vegas? Most people act like 21 yr olds. Besides I'm far to boring to make friends!

^ not really. I live in a "small" town (Manteca) and we have three gyms on the same street. And I know people that go to each of them. But I typically work out at home. I'm thinking of going with my son to his gym when i come home. You may check craigslist and pick up some cheap used equipment just to hold you over. better than doing nothing?

Hope it works out for you. Earlier in the year, I saw a SmithMachine in Craigslist, forget the price, but very inexpensive. would have picked it up too, 'cept I was leaving country the next day, and no time....

I want to redo my equipment in my backyard, maybe semi enclose the patio.... looks like I may have to put that dream on hold if this gig in Pakistan opens up for me....

Just looked on Craigslist. Found a few people selling smith machines with 400-500 lbs of weights included for about 500.00-600.00. I sure would hate to move that 1400 miles in 6 months. Probably not worth it. I'll just wait until I move and set up a home gym. In the meantime I'll probably just call around and see how much it would cost to do a one or two week membership. It couldn't cost more than 40.00. Thanks for the help
