    a week off every 6 months?

    I've heard its good to take a week off every 6 months. Any truth to this?

    I take a wee off when i feel my body needs it. I never go on exact time cycles, i just know when i need a break and find it to be beneficial

    every 3 to 4 months u should take a week off. i dont tho

    i prefer a 1 week deload once a month

    That's usually what I do to. Just listen to my body. It isn't often I need time off

    I will take 3 or 4 days off about every.two months just.from life..but never actually said okay wk off

    I would take a week off about every 8 weeks


    Periodizing training is important...

    6-8 week blast, 2-3 week maintain, 1 week off.... repeat

    That sounds like a good idea. That would also help protect from over training

    I like taking a week off. My body looks better than ever w/that extra rest!

    I've been working out religiously since 1988, took two 1 week breaks over those 24 years (both after surgeries). Not saying that's right or wrong but I love training too much to take break.

    During your off week....do you stick to diet or also take a week off from that as well?

    Generally take a break and eat a bit less of everything.... Same foods but less
