Man Obama has done this the last 4 years! He picks a topic tries to change things then when it goes south he avoids it or let it dies. Anyone remember Obama Care? That was supposed to start in January if I am not mistaken but now you hear nothing about it. Same thing with off shore oil drilling, alternative fuel, taxes, troops in Iraq, and the list goes on. Whites will look at "the news", go out and by a paper, magazine, internet searches, etc. to see what is going on the Martin-Zimmerman case...or the case quoted above. Blacks will do the same. I see a lot of Black people marching (and some whites) and demanding an arrest in the Martin case...but i don't see ANYONE MARCHING for the crime listed above.

The facts are coming out, and I think Obama might end up looking silly for making a federal case (literally) out of something that didn't warrant it.

I agree with you 100% and that's why I never got into watching sports on TV. If I'm not participating then I'm not interested. I dont watch ANY of the reality shows or sitcoms. I dont watch 99% of the news either except the occasional weather report but they get that wrong 80% of the time also.

I'm not an activist though, I dont get involved or pretend to know a lot about politics because I dont want to waste my time with something I know I cant change unless I get fully involved or am forced into it. I'm not blind though and can see through the hippocracy and BS. It's amazing and frustrating how blind people are and just believe what they are told even though it makes no sense or is obviously wrong. Yeah I know exactly what you are saying and you are right, I just dont want to dedicate the time and I know I would get over involved. I have a buddy who is exactly the same as me. He was forced into getting involved a few years ago due to a crooked builder who was putting up houses across the street from his house. It was all good until they guy changed the natural flow of a seasonal creek and aimed it right at my buddies house. He started out being friendly just talking to the contractor before ground even got broken up to the point where he made the irrigation ditch aimed at my friends front door and then turn 90 deg. lol my buddy tried to reason with him then court. After getting death threats from the builder and being told by the judge that it didnt matter what documentation he had or if he was right he would loose because of $$$ my buddy decided the only way to fight it was from the inside and ran for County commissioner. To everyone surprise he won. Yup, the buildfer had to tear up a few of his houses and re direct the natural path of the creek since the core army engineers also got involved. The builder moved out of the area within 6 months.

My buddy is not running for his 3rd term. At least I know of 1 good politician. He says he doubts he will win again, it's just to dirty/crooked inside and since he cant be bought they will find a way to force him out.
