Well I am a pretty big watch fanatic. I own a few Breitlings, but was looking to purchase a G-shock for gym/outdoor use. Any suggestions from any of you that own one?

I'm more into G-Spots
Saw that one coming a mile away. lol
I have not wore a watch in 30 years. Every watch I had died after a few week a few minute before or after 12 pm lol
I stick with a cell phone. Ive never been into jewelry. I have a few very nice 22K gold neclaces I was given as gifts but I just done feel comfortable wearing bling.
gshocks are cool. a lot of phonies out so be careful. even thought they are not too expensive, esp when comparing to breitlings. I have one of those bad boys, i saved for a long time to get that mickiefickie to. and dont even wear it except for on special occasions now.
Which Breitling?Originally Posted by jpowell
I wore g-shocks throughout my military service. Pretty durable watches. Like Jpowell said though, I see fakes at almost every mall I go to.
I would get it from an authorized retailer like Macys or Zumiez..Originally Posted by al_capone

Oo damn, must have costed a fortune. I own a Breitling Bentley too.Originally Posted by jpowell
I dont get it, what do they do besides tell you what time it is?
They also tell the date. Jk. Its like a car. Theres Mercedes and theres Ford. They both get you places, but the mercedes is a better experience.Originally Posted by lovbyts
With a watch, you are paying for fine craftsmanship and quality. A Breitling always outlives its owner.
But with the right Ford with a few mods and 1/4 the $$$ it can get you there a LOT faster and turn more heads.
Yeah I know we all have our different taste, I just cant get into flash, I like the bang for the buck.
i cant lie, i bought mine strictly for flash. i love my watch but older and wiser now, woda soent money on sumthng else.Originally Posted by lovbyts

These things are meant for flash, same reason reason I bought mine. In terms of value, a kmart brand will do as it tells time. I still dont regret the $$ i spent on it.Originally Posted by jpowell

G-Shocks are great outdoor/workout watches. Another brand to look at is Suunto. My brother bought me a Suunto Core for Christmas and it has become my gym/camping/kick around watch. It's got a large face and is still super comfortable. It also has some cool features like an altimeter and barometer. It's cool to check out how many vertical feet you drop when snowboarding.
