My gym was open but closed at 3! I got there at a quarter after 2 and half way through my workout the front desk women told me "we close in 10 minutes" I managed to slam threw my last set of dead lifts and three sets of hack squats faster than I have ever done in my life lol I almost passed out in the parking lot. 5 sets of squats, 4 sets of dead lifts and 3 sets of hack squats in 45 mins.

1- Prob a question you should ask when you join. ie: How many days a year are you open? or What holidays are you closed?
2- I agree with gix - Years ago I worked at a 364 days a year gym as a manager - I felt like shit having people work on holidays like easter and sure as hell didnt like being there myself.
3- Relax and enjoy your holiday bro - the iron will still be there tomorrow!

The gym i go to, Bodyworks opened late and closed early. usually a 24hr gym. 12pm- 6pm

I used to be a member at Life Time Fitness, pretty much the epitome of globo-gym. They only ever closed for 24 hours for Thanksgiving and 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Unless you are some professional athlete or making money with what you are doing, and even then those guys probably take time off for a holiday, you know work it in somehow. My guess is you are way too obsessed if you can't miss one day. I'm glad I'm not as anal as I used to be about lifting, I've made better progress not being crazy anal.
