Can anyone Lead me in the right direction of where to buy some gear? I don't really trust the online sites as I've been reading 99% of them are scams.

please read the rules, you cant ask for sources.
and if you think buying from a site is a scam, then whats your other option? Buy local and i doubt people on the board can recommend a guy in your town.
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong
