No, melanocyte stimulating hormone analogs provide much more than cosmetic superficial results. Those who turn red/yellow from the environment can potentially trigger production of protective melanin...which has a laundry list of benefits (moreso to certain genetics/etc).Originally Posted by DigitalGorilla;60***87
I read a little on it - its not FDA apporved etc.....but those who have used it...what do they say? Side effects? Is it safe? that we know?
I'm on my 4th day of pining this shit at 250mcg ED. This is considered very low. You can go up to about 1mg a day.Originally Posted by DigitalGorilla
I'm starting low because of one specific side, the tan. If you use too much and also don't know how your body reacts to it, people have reported nasty brown patches on their body, "dirty" looking tans, purple lips, black fingernails, and moles and freckles on their face turning black.
Other sides include nausea and vomiting shortly after injecting. I have had neither.
Good sides? I have not experienced anything good or bad so far, but testimonials say you get a bad ass tan and boners lol.
Works best on skin types 1 and 2.

Ok -- so since Im already pretty tan I guess I shouldnt worry about using this. Lol and -- I cant deal with the erections i already get lol
very silly claim/concern to make - takes an odd duck and/or extreme over-dosage to effect bp
unfortunate victims of PT-141 melanocortin trials who had to administer multiple vials up the nose are the few sufferers... of course at present clinical trials revolve around testing subcutaneous injections of sensible dosages
Oh -- so this is for the fair skin types ? Im not familiar with Skin types ... Im irish and italian -- so In the winter Im pale - but when I get a tan I keep it for about 6 months. So are they still testing on this? Are they tryin to make it legit in the states for humans?
Most extreme results occur in those who cannot naturally, indeed - the irish (lacking pigment w/ high inflammation), aussies (harsh environment, white/red skinned population w/ high skin cancer rates), s. africans, n. americans etc value the product/research.
Melanotan (1) has orphan status for rare patients in europe... don't bet the bank melanotropins will gain any regulatory approval in this decade
You would be considered a type 2 skin type most likely. Naturally pale, but you tan. Same as me except I burn easily and then get tan.Originally Posted by DigitalGorilla
Keep in mind, theoretically can you get yourself to the point where you look like a black person if you use enough of this shit lol.
Holy shit reallly???? SO have you guys that used it seen any bad sides? And does it in any way lead to skin cancer? - I know there are no hard facts but i mean - are they speculating that?
There are plenty inconvenient possible sides, most common being nausea, lethargy, rapid tanning, aphrodisiac/increased libido, reduced appetite.... No, the peptide hormone in no way leads to skin cancer - tanning irresponsibly leads to damage - only the drive by media/incompetent would speculate MSH => cancer
yea I figured that was a media spin. They know the word cancer scares people. Ill be honest - id like to stay out of the sun more than i do - so id consider taking this - but the erections --- that worries me - from taking a test cycle - they started alot - and even after the cycle they still happen! its annoying! I cant sleep sometimes cause of it..
The nasseau I can deal with. Im a pot smoker lol
How long is the cycle of this? And im assuming the results wear off after you stop?
I feel zero nausea at the 250mcg daily dose I'm taking. I do it everyday after breakfast. I suspect people get this when they are booting 1mg as there first time dose and on an empty stomach. As far as cancer, if anything it helps, the darker your skin is the more protected you are. I believe this was actualy theorigianl reason for this stuff to be made.
Get darker with less sun exposure, that's what peaked my interest. You also hold your tan for close to 3 months after reaching the desired tan you want.
wow - I wont lie - I might try this one day...lol
Sorry last question I promise! --- Lets say i take this ....and I get to where I want - I still have to maintain? Or then I can stop?
so if your already olive skinned and tan easy would you say to stay away from this?i like to have a tan year round but would be nice to stay outta the sunbeds as much as poss if i could so im thinkin just a low dose???and where can i can info on how much to take and howe much to frontload since i hear your suppose to with this product.ty
