My father raised me that way. When I was 17, I got mad at my mom and raised my fist at her just as my dad walked into the house. Without missing a beat or breaking his stride as he walked past, he said, "you hit your mom or any other women and I promise you it will be the last person you hit genius". He didn't need to say anything more.

Lol Call me crazy, but i believe in hugs, kisses, cuddling and love letters are generally a more effective approach to bettering a relationship over time... I guess some people feel hitting works best who knows

I'm not even a fan of violence during sex. That whole S&M thing doesn't appeal to me. Causing someone else pain isn't something I'm into. I know some people enjoy it. To each their own. I'm not judging. I like kinky, but I just can't bring myself to hitting someone during any form of intimacy.

Now hitting someone that's bothering my HAW....that's a whole other story and I have no restraint for jackasses that think "no" means try harder.

I've had a few guys hit on my wife when we were at clubs. It's usually when she's coming from the washroom. Sends me raging every time. I try to be a little calmer now, letting her dismiss them and only getting involved when they don't back off. I am overly protective of her (she's been in two abusive relationships, things that are unspeakable) and I really take exception to guys bugging her. One guy grabbed her by the arm one night when she was coming from the washroom. Took my trainer and two security to stop me from dismembering that guy. Honestly, I don't know where some jack asses get off touching some girl or persisting when they are told no.

There are people and times when doing so proves to them that they can trust you to not HARM them. Since you've got a medical background, you know that there is a difference between pain and harm. There are times that what I'm dealing with mentally and emotionally leads me to needing a catharsis.... For some people a catharsis can come from the pain. I'm sure you're also aware of the facts regarding the pain/pleasure centers and their proximity/affinity to/with each other. It's more a contrast. Think of it as a sexual equivalent to wanting a cold beer on a hot day and a hot cup of coffee on a cold day.

My favorite reaction was one night at a Vegas club. My wife was on my right standing right beside me. I see this guy approaching my wife looking right at her. She sees him coming and without saying a word, she moves to my left side putting me between him and her. The look on the guy's face was priceless!!! Looked like someone had taken his candy away. I didn't say anything and I just let it go as the guy walked by shaking his head as he passed. Later, loser!!!!!!! Lol
