ok all you Canadians, I need help ASAP!!

Ok heres my situation, Im leaving for camp form Victoria BC to alberta in fort Mcmurray tomorrow! I have to fly from Victoria to Vancouver to Edmonton to fort Mcmurry, I am half way thru my test prop cycle, I'm in for two weeks then back for one week, so I will need to bring 2 vials and like 10 syringes, my question is, can I take these on the plane? Has anyone done this before? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Not sure. You know, even though it is a domestic flight, they still check and scan your luggage...

    My guess would be no.

Mail it to yourself in advance.

Mailing it, like Atomini suggested would for sure be the safest way. Best of luck in the Fort!

Give me 20 emailing my bro now and will get advice from him. He runs a welding crew in camp up there and is always coming and going with gear. As far as the airplane, just check it
And put it in with the rest of your bathroom stuff. Needles i dont know. I always just bought when i landed. What camp u going to? If u are going to kearl lake or something then u are stuck in camp. There are lots that you are allowed to leave though to run to town.

Bad news is that he said they do room searches. I then asked him what he does and he told me that it stays in his truck and never leaves his person. You can take that advice for what it is but he is the type of guy that knows what he can and cant get away with. If he isnt doing something, i for sure wouldnt do it. But i know him well.

But do they search your bag when you check into camp?? I could hide my gear in my room, like bury it in my protein powder or something.

Do you guys think it would be a safer bet, just taking my pct stuff in shampoo bottles and ending my cycle early?

I would hate to see that bro. But it is something you have to decide. Is it worth losing a camp job if u get caught? I know my buddy is in a different situation because he runs his own truck so he has somewhere private. He did text me back and said they will not search ur stuff before u go in.

unless you have a script I would not bring it on the plane with stuff, DEFF not needles (Idea get b12 vial and take otu b12 and add test and take that with youalong with needles). and if they do room checks?... well..

I dont think its worth the risk myself. shit if you has pinned some teste you would have to worry about maybe sneeking ONE 1amp.

anyway I hope you figure it out. :-)

Im on the other side. Close to Fort St John. They flying you home on ur week off? As a welder you will get lots of chances to work your week off. Be careful if you spend time in the Mac. Lots of crack heads roaming around.

What up D. Way to go with the prop, I'm in camp myself. 2 options. 1. Put your gear in your checked bag. Remember, possession for personal isn't illegal. Pick up pins in the Mac. 2. Mail it, and pick it up when you get there. I have a buddy I work with brings quite a bit with him in his checked. If you go that route put it in your shaving kit, you'll be GTG. It'd be a gas if we work the same site and not even know it. Get it, GAS!!!!!

Just wondering if you've worked out a solution to your problem?

I do know from other people that when they do searches, they have yet to (from the camps I've been in) search your bags when you get to the camp, they only search rooms based on reasonable grounds (if the dogs go off on a smell-tangent from something inside your room), and will not search your person (while your working. Like, for example, your lunch bag)

I haven't come to a point where I've brought gear to camp, but it may come to that soon. Lemme know if you got away with it, or talked to anybody else who did.

Here in oz at domestic flights, it insists not to take shaprs on board. I took 2 boxes 18g x 100 and 23g x 100 was not a problem at all, and i deal with the strictest customs in the world!

Ya I got er figured out!

Put your gear in your checked baggage, then when I get to my chartered camp flight I take it out and put it in my pockets(they only scan baggage) then when I get to camp I keep it on me at all times (lunch bag)
