Western Union- payment picked up question

Is there a way to find out if money you sent has been picked up without going to a WU location? Also if the payment hasn't been sent out is there a way to cancel the transaction and get your money back?

You can set up an online WU account and pay from the web and track the pick up that way as well

Most sources are waiting until Friday to pick up funds to keep them from going back and fourth numerous times to wu... So chill... It's almost 6 in the morning in Bangkok.. Check your sources website in about 4-5 hrs and it should say funds collected...

@polo my source is actually in USA though. So the fact that it says China doesn't really matter as long as my source has the MTC or whatever number. Is that correct or is the money really going to China. Source is US based and gear is made on home base

They need Mntc # in order to pick up funds... If I was u, I would pm one of the mods on here and let them know where you order from and see if they know of them or if there go to go... It's been 7 yrs since I've cycled it been on here so I don't know if the mods still do that.. I know back then they did...

It's an electronic transfer. It's not like WU mails cash.

You can get your money back if it was sent with an ID. You have to call WU and they will cancel the transaction and issue you a new control number to pick up the funds, you will have to show ID. Don't know about funds sent without ID. This pretty much refers to the fact that over $1000 requires ID, under does not.
