    Diminished LH and/or FSH levels are an indication that shut down is occurring and hcg is needed.

    not an expert, but I believe the recommendation is based on mimicking the body's natural rhythm if you were not effected by hypogonadism. Taking ti first thing in the morning I doubt would be harmful or counter-productive in any way, but taking before night your testicles are stimulated and start producing T overnight so your levels would be higher in the morning as would be the case naturally. I could be wrong, but that's my theory and understanding of why the recommendation is there.

    i disagree..lh and fsh will be shutdown when trt is administered...no blood test is necessary. Hcg also isnt an fsh analog..that is more hmg
