Ectomorph needs help!
I have been working hard at the gym for several years straight with only typical breaks for holidays. I have a good workout regime which has seen me grow strength very well, but in terms of size and weight gains, very little happens.
A few nutrition and bodybuilding experts come to the same conclusion that my metabolism is that of an ectomorph. At peak of training I can consume 5000+ calories (good quality calories), along with creatine and krill oil (krill oil being the only kick starter to make gains, going up 10lb in 12 months). It's a chore keeping up with my desire to consume food at times.
In spite of all this, my body has changed little in shape, barely an inch on muscle. I want to make some degree of size gain. I don't wish to replicate a peak Arnold Schwarzenneger but I do wish to look "buff" and not slim and flat. Therefore I'm now considering steroids.
Given all the above detail, would it be reasonable that I'm considering this avenue as I approach 29 years old and standing 6ft3 tall?
If so, what on earth do I consider, how do I go about it, etc etc etc. lots of questions in my head before I consider this route.
Any advise warmly welcomed.
