PCT with Torem and liquid Tamox

Has anyone run these together for a PCT and what was your result? After my last cycle I ran nolva and clomid and the sides were insane for me to say the least. I am curious to find out how others here did with this and if I can expect any different sides then with the clomid. ED? Insomnia? Thanks

At 100 it is common to have sides. I suggest you lower the dose and consider taking the meds right before bed

Only run the Clomid at 100 during week one. Clomid 100/50/50/50 and if the sides are to much in week one lower the dose. Tamox looks good at 40/40/20/20

I've run tore/tamox for pct several times and recovered fine.

Tore 120/120/60/60.......
Tamox 40/20/20/20......

Tamoxifen, ocular toxicity, & oxidative stress

A heads up re: serms and vesion sides. The article linked to below proposes that the ocular damage caused by tamoxifen is due to oxidative stress. The authors suggest that the use of antioxidants (ie: IMO especially NAC because its a glutathione precursor)may help prevent such damage.

Several pharmaceutical agents have been associated with rare but serious retinopathies, some resulting in blindness. Little is known of the mechanism(s) that produce these injuries. Mechanisms proposed thus far have not been embraced by the medical and scientific communities. However, preclinical and clinical data indicate that oxidative stress may contribute substantially to iatrogenic retinal disease. Retinal oxidative stress may be precipitated by the interaction of putative retinal toxins with the ocular redox system. The retina, replete with cytochromes P450 and myeloperoxidase, may serve to activate xenobiotics to oxidants, resulting in ocular injury. These activated agents may directly form retinal adducts or may diminish ocular reduced glutathione concentrations. Data are reviewed that suggest that indomethacin, tamoxifen, thioridazine, and chloroquine all produce retinopathies via a common mechanism-they produce ocular oxidative stress
