    Give me your thoughts

Ive out of the gym for a year, but I'm back hitting it like there's no tomorrow. Hope muscle memory comes into play here soon. But even though its my first week back lifting I was thinking of starting a cycle, test only! That's shouldn't be so bad would it?

Contrary, it would certainly be bad. Why the rush? Just take your time so that you're ready for the burst of strength. Otherwise, you're asking for injury. All too common and we see threads about this constantly.

Patience is what most people lack. Don't lump yourself with the majority, be one of the few that do things right.

With good diet rest and training you'll gain back what you lost rather quickly, muscle memory. I'd wait 6 months then cycle. I think that would be reasonable, guys?

I would build your base back up first. There will be a much less chance of injury that way.

Train hard for a few months and then evaluate to see if you are ready for that step.

I would get my tendons nice and strong again before I got my muscles super strong. Like Austin said, quick road to an injury.

It won't come back any faster on juice. Youre already primed for growth due to being out of the gym for so long. Muscle memory is real but it ain't magic been there recently myself. I waited a few months before jumping back on. Build up core strength as stated already. Squats, deads, bench, etc. then when you've hit that inevitable plateau again you can rethink AAS strategy,
