    Red face First cycle (Bulk) 24/yo critique and advice Please

    Been researching AAS since I was about 17 and actually a few good members here discourage me back then when I realized it was a stupid idea at that age. Posted a thread around here back then lol.

    Age: 24
    Training: 7 years on and off. (60% off, but lately been training 70% of the time this year and last year)
    Weight: 175lbs (lost 20lbs after 3-4 months of bad dieting and not working out due to work/school)
    Height: 5'10"
    Body fat: Probably around somewhere from 15-17%


    12 week cycle Test Enanthate + PCT

    1-12 Test E 500mg ( 2 x 250mg Monday & Thursday)

    1-14 Arimidex .25mg ( Every other day)

    3-12 HCG 400ius ( 2 x 200 Monday & Thursday) Would start earlier and all the way up to PCT, but only have 4000 UI of HCG

    14.5-18.5 Clomid 75/50/50/50mg (Every day)

    14.5-18.5 Nolvadex 40/20/20/20mg (Every day)

    Diet: Will follow a strick clean bulking diet found in these forums and articles of course. Same with training 5x a week.

    Blood work: has been done a little on the low side on Test levels everything else is good.

    Heres a Cycle spreadsheet that I found that would be very helpful for anyone to track day by day. You can download and edit it with your relevant info.

    Looks pretty solid to me man. I'm sure the vets will chime in. Some might say you need to gain more naturally before or lose some BF but in the end it'll be your decision. Personally, I've run a similar cycle (and at a younger age, though not recommended) and came out just fine with great gains. Best of luck to you.

    I'd time it so HCG is finished 4 days prior to start of PCT then work backwards to figure out when to start it. Looks pretty good to go besides that.

    Thanks AlphaMike. Honestly I would love to have more mass and lower body fat%, but it's not worth it to me to have the gear sitting because of circumstances and it will help me jump start to a level I'd like to be at. You understand?

    Bc for the SERMs to be effective and work as needed, the testes need to be in an normally functioning state i.e. Not atrophied. If you stop HCG too soon there will still be exogenous/excess test in your system so right as you're getting into PCT your testes will begin to atrophy slightly since you're still on excess test levels.

    My cycle went smoothly, wasn't my first so no dramatic gains in size but great strength gains and a very smooth PCT. Marcus300's thread on keeping gains was right on and I kept most of mine and recovered quickly.

    ah ha! Thank you sir. Seems like that would be right. I will do my hw on that aspect to verify it.

    Cool, will make sure to follow all the advice on that and some more. How was your first cycle like though?

    My first cycle I gained a total of 30 lbs in the first 6 weeks(not all muscle) and shot up in strength so fast everyone knew exactly what I was doin lol you should have great time.

    Kept about 12lbs of muscle, could have kept more but I got the post cycle blues plus I quit eating as much as before. It's not enough to just follow the nolva/clomid protocol, you really have to keep up with your diet those days as well as change up your training style to keep as much as possible. Don't worry about the bodyfat you put on(if any) until a month or two later when you've really solidified those gains.

    Thanks Alpha, I will be shooting to retain 20lbs of muscle after the cycle is completed. Thanks Chadcuz. I'm almost worried I haven't gotten more feedback about my cycle because it always seems like people who post there cycle, always have something wrong or more to add to it...

    Some people say that you will not gain more than 5-6 pounds of muscle during the first cycle. You can gain 20 pounds of mass but only a small part will be muscle.

    Sagittarius yea I meant to say overall mass. I'm shooting for 6-9lbs of muscle and I think is seems very reasonable with everything in check.
