If one puts some fat on during cycle and wants to cut it off after, is it better to wait to reduce calories and start clen until after body has recovered?

Yes if you want as much chance as possible to retain gains. I would wait several weeks after pct, probably 6 or more.

It's a very delicate time when youre coming off and restarting your body. Your body can easily go catabolic and start feeding on muscle tissue you just worked so hard for. I just came off about 8 weeks ago and still have not changed my caloric intake. I haven't lost any strength so far nor have I lost any weight. I don't feel catabolic anymore, energy is back to normal. I'll probably still wait until after the holidays to really dig into a cutting strategy. Nothing is worth losing lean mass for.
My advice is give your body enough time to completely recover before you start changing anything but everyone is different so I can't say how long that will be for you individually. I personally change only the training style when I come off, to something less abusive since recovery is slower. I probably won't cycle on again until march. That's close to 6 months off. Don't be in such a hurry.![]()
Common mistake people make is not being committed to either putting on mass or taking it off. Why work hard to put on pounds of muscle only to cut some off to quickly. Goals are user dependent but I hear it all the time....Just got done with a cycle time to cut....end up losing most of what they gained. Too much back and forth your just gonna spin your wheels.
hmm good to know, thanks
Can't add anything and agree with the above posts, give it 6 weeks at least after pct before cutting. During pct keep cals high and above maintenance
