~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~
"It's human nature in a 'more is better' society full of a younger generation that expects instant gratification, then complain when they don't get it. The problem will get far worse before it gets better". ~ kelkel
Ah, sarcasm. The lowest form of wit.
NO SOURCES GIVEN
When I first started working out in high school a guy came up to me and corrected my form. I appreciated it. The one time I gave advice to someone because they were about to hurt them selves. I politely told him that he could hurt himself doing it that way and showed him the proper form. He told me to mind my own business and that was it. I see it all the time. Especially from kids in high school. If they're serious about it. They will research the right way or learn the hard way

well im just a dumb redneck from the south so ....I wouldn't know.
To answer the op, I don't like it when people give me advice if I don't ask for it. I get offended when someone comes up to me in the middle of a set and tells me how to do it correctly....usually smaller guys too....gotta love that.
I asked one guy for help with 1 machine. I hated to bother him bc he works out hard and it shows. He was very sweet and took a moment. When I was looking for someone to help, I NEVER even for a second thought to ask staff or even a personal trainer. I much rather ask the guy that looks like he is getting results.![]()
Link pls. I always like a good laugh!!!Originally Posted by --->>405<<---

Sustanon fighting guy or box fvker guy.. those were the good ol days!! lmao
OP sorry for the derail. But to contribute some: no, I am a selfish sucker at the Gym and tell myself the following:
"There are three types of Physics":
"Kunfu"
"Hollywood"
"Real life"
lmao!!!
Only with young kids. Like a high schooler. I would have liked help early on
When I first started lifting, I really had no clue what to do.
I knew nobody at the gym.
So most of the times I would just watch the biggest guys and emulate what they did on a far lighter scale.
I was 140lbs and working my ass off to get bigger.
I never dared to chat with the big guys in fear that they seen me as just little skinny guy and laugh in my face.
But as time went on I watched and learned things here n there.
As I started to see some change in my body it fueled my fire.
Some of the regular big guys started giving me pointer on this n thats. Or when I was struggling to rip out those last few reps , they'd come over and be that voice of motivation to crank out those final few reps.
Those instances really helped alot. And wish more guys that knew what they were doing . Would help some of the more novice guys achieve a better quality of life.
Even if it's something simple that could be the difference.
So to those who do help. Thank you
And those who don't , Try it you might find in the end it'll make your day as much as it might make theirs.
