If my kid didn't eat for a long time, he would get very difficult, and the more time that elapsed, the less he was willing to eat. Maybe she's perfectly lovely and happy even though she hasn't eaten in ages, I don't know. For mine it would have been misery if he didn't eat for two days. Take the child out for ice cream or a milk shake, or something delicious that also contains protein and fat and it might get the appetite going.

Yeah debating whether to chime in on this or not, but there may be some resentment issues the child has that causing him not to eat. Sometimes kids are smarter than you think. They have there own ways of acting out. What else is going on there. If my dog did not eat for 2 days, the last thing i would think about is force feeding her.

My daughter was strange. I remember when she was 4 of 5 at a friends birthday party. I was the only dad there (single dad) with about a dozen mothers and my daughter was looking for some food. They kept offering her birthday cake, chips, cookies and she kept turning them down. When they asked her what she wanted she said Carrots, celery, fruit... You should have seen the look on the mothers faces. Several asked me how I did that and if I would baby sit their little monsters. lol

My son is like that. He's not overly fond of candy or chocolate. He'll eat it occasionally but rarely asks for it. Only time I've really seen him eat any was Halloween and he didn't want any of the chocolate. He ate a little bit of candy. He just doesn't have a sweet tooth.

My daughter in the other hand.....she has her day's sweet tooth! If its got sugar in it, on it, covered all over, you can bet your sweet ass she's eating it!!! Her appetite is hardy for her age. She loves her sweets but she also loves eating daddy's food. I try to eat about every three hours, and when she's around, she's got her face right in daddy's food like clock work!!!!

When my 1 yr old wouldn't eat I would just back hand him.Problem solved! No my kids ate like wolves.The kid will eat whe he is hungry.Just keep trying and if you give him too many bottles.That will make him not hungry.
