    Getting seizure letter

So I got a letter from customs saying they intercepted something with an illegal substance and I can come get it or or I don't respond it will be forfeited. My question is am I on some sort of list? Will they be tracking all shipments to me? The company does resends but I'm nervous now that I'm "on their radar". Anyone know anything about that or gotten letters before

If you have a prescription they will give it to you, if not don't respond or send to that address again

Ignore customs. Keep the letter. Check the senders website they should have a policy and instructions for what you do if you get a seizure letter as far as getting it re-shipped by them. Reputable overseas companies at least, they usually will send it again without charge. That has been my experience.

If you go take the letter in it's as good as admitting you are the individual who ordered it and tried to have ot shipped illegally. IMO that's an admission of guilt.

They won't come after you. This happens every day. They don't have the resources to go after and prosecute every individual. My guess is they send that letter hoping the recipient is dumb enough to bring it to them. They probably do process you at that point.

never ever never go pick up. with anything questionable you may be getting sent to you. it absolutely is an admission of guilt and you will be prosecuted. think about it, shipping companies SHIP shit to you. you could unsuspectingly get a package sent to you that was not meant to. wrong address est. going and picking up means you were expecting it. DONT DO THAT

I had no plans of picking it up. My question is if I get a re send will it just be intercepted again, is it safe for me to order online anymore

You or your address are not on any kind of list but it wouldn't be smart to order to the same name/address from the same source again that soon. Most sources wont do reships to the same address anyway.

I've gotten 3 seizure letters over the years. The first one freaked me out. LOL I couldn't sleep that night. I thought the Fed's were going to break down the door after me. It was a tense day. I had it reshipped to the same address and it made it the second try. By the 3rd letter, I'm like "eh, so what?" Just don't claim it or respond to the letter. The US customs is under manned and under paid. They have better things to do than to drive down and make a bust for a small order. I just recently had an order returned by custom to the country of origin. They didn't even send me a seizure letter. I think they're getting lazy. LOL
