    Valentines Day gifts

Ok yet ANOTHER holiday is upon us. Yes it's a man (woman) made holiday where WE as men are typically responsible for making it something special for our women in our life and if we don't we get another 12 months of hell instead of only 11 1/2 months. lol

I'm one of those practical guys that if I spend money it's something besides jewelry or dinner.

This year I'm getting my woman a Glock 30sf, .45 cal. I already sent her to one 8hr shooting class and her 2nd one as well as a cleaning and care class is in a couple of week.

So, what are your plans? What are you getting her? Do you think she is getting you anything? Something you are not paying for?

Hey LB, have you considered the G42 instead. Might be easier for her to carry concealed and shoot.

We have a Ruger .380 but she has her sights set on a .45. She has fired several different and says she likes the .45 best. Im lucky she doesn't want a 44 mag. lol

I gave the wife 2 boxes of Little Debbie Valentine cakes and offered to buy her a Sig Ultra to match mine or buy myself a hammerless Ruger SP101 to match hers.....She's still undecided at this point.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Anyone knows the laws about hang guns?. My fiance and her family loves to go shooting. We do not have a gun at the moment and would like to get her one for xmas or something down the line. Problem is I got into trouble when I was 17-18. Im 34 now but still have a felony on record. Any suggestions here?

Look into having it removed via an attorney would be the best long term fix.
You have to look into state laws obviously but I dont see any way YOU can do the purchase. Although your intentions may be good dont risk getting in more trouble.

No way would I risk anything. Havent been in trouble let alone even pulled over in over 10 years. But know its a gift she would like. Will look into state laws. Thinking of having someone buy it and transferring it into her name maybe too.

I'm not a lawyer, but see if it can be expunged. Again, not sure if it's possible, but I would look into it.

Do you go together or separate? Separate would really be a gift.

You can not buy, own or possess a firearm as a convicted felon in any state. It's a federal law. You can however apply to the Governor of your state to have your rights restored. It's not that difficult but it does take some time and an attorney can help.

Lunk I know I can not personally have a fire arm. As this would all be in her name.

Just give her a gift cert. for the purchase and let her do the purchase paperwork. Just be careful as some LE agencies might consider you to be in possession if she keeps a firearm in the residence where you reside as well.

You may consider just checking into getting your rights restored. It may be easier and cheaper than you think.
