Important info from a long term user of HGH

Hi all, this message is for informational updates. I have been using GH for many years (about 14) and have loved it which is why I am writing this thread to users that may wish to know what can happen when dosing in higher amounts and for long periods. I typically used 10-14 iu's daily or with varying frequency for most of the initial years and over the last 4 have tapered to 5-7 iu daily for the benefits. To all who have used it, the benefits are obvious, but its what my physician has determined that you should understand. I am only 51 and look and feel 31, however during a workout last year that was extremely intense, I fell to the ground at the gym - dead. No heartbeat and no oxygen in my blood. I awoke three days later from the induced coma to find that paramedics were able to restart my heart and the nurses and docs in ICU were all telling me I was lucky to be alive. During the next two weeks at the hospital a team of cardio docs ran every test conceivable to determine what happened and the final diagnosis was an extremely enlarged heart that was inline with the growth of other internal organs, and this caused the valves to "leak" and fill my lungs with fluid, cutting the oxygen intake and also severely weakening the heart muscle which lead to the failure at the gym. The doctors had no reason available except to conclude that the HGH was the sole and proximate cause of the enlargement since most of the organs had grown also giving me the "roid gut" appearance as well. The doctors say that the growth is not mitigatable - i.e. fixable and is permanent. My heart function will always be at or below 10 percent of normal and could cause failure at any time due to its weakened condition. I have spent the last year doing extensive research with the medical community and have found that GH does in fact cause some permanent changes such as abnormal tissue growth in certain types of tissue other than skeletal muscle and skin. I have also discovered that the relatively high doses used were a strong contributor in the organ growth I experienced. I wanted to alert you as fellow bodybuilders to use this stuff carefully and have yearly checkups with EKG's to determine if you are potentially at risk from the abnormal growth issue. I have to live with the potential of a transplant or untimely death as a result of not doing better due diligence in determining how to use this and moreover - how to determine if it was doing harm. Beauty is only skin deep, the damage goes much deeper!

You massively abused Hgh. 14ius is a lot especially if it was pharm grade. I'm sorry that happened to you but running that dose for years was a recipe for disaster. Use vs abuse is the key here.

I'm glad you're okay, but honestly wtf were you thinking? You used 10-14ius for 10 years and another 4 years at 5-7 expecting what?!. That's a lot of gh and is the very definition of dangerously high systemic igf levels. You can't expect to use those doses and not have MAJOR health issues.
I've used hgh on and off for almost 12 years now. Never have I gone over 3 ius of pharma except last year when I ran 4-5 ius of jintropin which lasted for roughly 6 months. The one time I tried 10ius was when I used generics and it felt like 6 or 8 ius was not having any noticeable effects on my body.
At your age you probably have family/people that love you and want you to stick around. I hope your health issues improve and you make a full recovery. Best wishes.

Thanks for the information. Curious on the varying frequency of breaks you took. Cycles went how long and down for how long usually.

^^^^ what he said. When I started reading 10-14iu a day I saw trouble coming.

Yea, I know now! 15 years ago GH had many differing opinions from many different boards. Friends who are IFBB said they used these amounts also, so without the benefit of current information , I jumped in. I ran up to 14 iu for 6 months at a time with 3 months off for the first 10 years, then reduced it years ago to the lower end realizing that something was wrong when I looked pregnant with a 6 pak. Anyway this is primarily a testament for those "knowledgeable members" to point to when advising those "less knowledgeable" about GH.
