Stoked!! Getting my 32kg Kettlebell tomorrow!!

My local gym currently sucks....no free squat..no free bench...no free bar for cleans...just Smith Machine. Kettlebell come save me!

Got an 8kg coming for the gf. See if I can get her hips a little more moterrrrrr lol.

The only style they had for the 32 was the big diameter handle so we will see how that turns out. Watching videos to see the correct form...seems I was doing it wrong all along lol.

I trained with kettle balls a couple years back. the big Bosnian was helping me train, and so for a few months, that's what we did. Not a big fan.

I really have no real experience with them. This will be counted as cardio work only. The hardest thing for me is around 8 oclock at night and I want to do something athletic to take the edge off but F going to the gym at that time. I usually get sucked into cartoon network and that brings out the peanuts and then as if by magic they whole bag is gone. Will try to substitute Kettlebell for peanuts. Back in the day I loved crunches but that love affair left along with my Madonna phase.

not sure what you know about kettleball training. if you set up your routines correctly, it is a whole body workout and cardio. too much bending at the back for my arthritis and so the pain never really goes away for me.

Maybe you will have better results.

I hope so. I have the back pain too from all the ground pounding I did in Iraq back in the early 90s. They do not make boots for the military with shock support worth crap.

Get the DVD Extreme Kettlebell Workout off of Dragondoor.com. It will kick your ass. High intensity, and is a full body routine

Started with hardstyle thrusts. It is definitely a Friday thing for now. No way I could lift after that kind of "cardio".

Body is crying from it so far. The heart rate jacks quickly like when doing cleans but is focusing on the core and not traps. Grip muscles hurting most so far.

Did this workout, whole body was shaking!

It is called, 300, used a 10lb kettlebell.

    Consists of this:

One handed kb swing (50 reps each arm)
One handed snatch (25 reps each arm)
One handed clean n press (25 reps each arm)
Reverse lunges, weight in hand that leg goes back (25 reps each leg)
One handed squat thrusters (25 reps each arm)

    Took me 21 minutes

That's a rep every 4.2 seconds. Not bad.
