I had a machine I purchased from Costco. The results were unreliable.

I'm usually something like 135/80 or so
my resting heart rate is usually below 60

But I'm twice old as some of you fuggers

The one I have seems to give pretty repeatable/accurate results.

I love to leave it out so that family and friends ask about it and then want to check theirs.

Had a bunch of family over this weekend, the unhealthy one that wont do anything about their diet I think was scared straight.

    We'll see!

Omron is what I use and have compared it to the one at the docs office. Works just fine.

They read high when the cuffs are to small. OK I'm going to go take mine in a few minutes using the one down the hall. I did take my BP meds today so it should be interesting.

Do you run higher at the Doc?

My father has white coat syndrome and is always high at his Dr apt, doc kept trying to up his BP meds.

Brought his cuff in and checked it against the docs, said it was g2g and has good bp at home.

I swear he runs 20+ points higher every time in the office.

No but I run high if im lacking sleep. It was after working 12 hrs and the last couple days only had maybe 3 hrs sleep.

After a good sleep its pretty normal.
