    I jump right a 350-500 cal deficit and adjust from there. i dont slowly taper, it would take so long to stop each time and assess which is working. Jump to a deficit that is more substantial and adjust from there i my opinion.

    I agree with this. Maybe transitioning from a cut to
    A bulk you'd find possible benefits of tapering cals upwards but when going to a cut from a bulk I just jump in the deep end.
