    Test levels off cycle?

What do you guys like your test levels off cycle?

I am on TRT and just don't feel like I am getting the best out of my trt. So I am just wondering what other people feel thr best at.

    Thanks.

I would ask in the HRT sub-forum if I were you.
I myself am around 700 halfway between injections.
I feel great and have no problem maintaining decent size and strength.

I probably should have asked to post age also.
I'm 29 last time had my level checked it was at 411. Just seems like I am not getting the full benefits of trt. I am on androgel have been for about a 14 months now. At first it worked great.

Do you have to take some kind of AI or anything?

    No AI.
I believe that the healthiest way to do TRT is to use a dose that doesn't require an AI or blood draws.
Think about it this way.... Do you know of any healthy people in their 20s that have such a high test level that they need to take an AI to control estrogen and need to give blood so they don't stroke?

I am not saying that keeping your test higher doesn't give some benefits but that is why an occasional blast can be taken.

    I agree 100% with this.

I'm 29 on trt and my levels are still 411. With 3 pumps of Androgel.

I don't want to take something I don't need. I would just like to get my levels at least to where they should be for 29. Or a little higher. Not much more bc I don't want to have to give blood and do all of that. While on trt I understand on cycle.

411 to be 29 on trt seems low to me. Last time I had my sentive E2 was at 7 scale was 5 to something don't recall.

I believe everyone's goal on TRT is to be AI free but it takes a long time, sometimes over a year, to get serum levels balanced. An AI helps one achieve this balance. Most guys on TRT are older and as one ages aromatase enzyme production increases along with adipose tissue, thus leading to a higher amount of aromatization which can require an AI to counteract. Also, SHBG levels play a role. High SHBG requires more exogenous test in order to increase free test serum. On top of all this most guys on TRT like to be at the top of the reference range which also complicates the AI issue.

Age 36, I feel best around 700-800. Any more(not counting blasts) and I just have more sides to deal with but don't feel any different. It may be time to consider switching to injections if you're having trouble getting the results you want out of the creams.

Hey stranger How have you been doing? Have you done any more cycle since the last time? We was on cycle about the same time. I haven't but thinking about it here soon. Hope everything is going well for ya.

I'm good, thanks for asking. Yes, I'm actually just finishing up a 10 week blast right now, which will be my second since starting try almost 2 years ago. Last week will finish up the blast then I'll lay low on trt dose til maybe winter sometime. I consider blasting to have been a very informative part of my trt as I now know how my body reacts to anything from 500-3500 test levels, lol. Back on topic....have you given any consideration to switching to injections for your trt?

Injection twice a week is way better than androgel, the first time I met my doctor I've told her clearly is no gel no pad, injection only otherwise I'll go somewhere else
