The problem though is that how can anyone be diagnosed mentally ill if they've never done anything wrong before? Ofcoarse he'll pass a backround check..... Then when he snaps he shoots someone

I tell one person almost every shift to leave the premise and not come back. Heck, I even turned down a long time friend last week.

If I give you no indication that I'm nuts in the head why wouldn't you sell me a gun?

Now I have my glock and I'm enjoying the range with my father for 6 months and the a black male shoots my sister.

Now a switch is flipped and I go crazy.....

I understand your point and don't mean to be argumentative. No one can predict another's future.

There are some signs you pick up on after dealing with enough people. Kind of like when you read a post in the Q&A section and know its a 20 year old kid who weighs 150 pounds even before the stats get listed.

You're not at all! I completely agree with FFL dealers being selective. I wish more held a higher standard.

There's just no way of stopping the issue. One way or another..... Guns are and will always be accessible
