Applying what was said about smaller needle size requiring more pressure, if trying to inject with a 1ml syringe but smaller needle if it isn’t a Luer lock (needle just slides onto 1ml syringe without twisting lock mechanism) you will likely blow the syringe off the needle with a lot of pressure. I tried some test enanthate that way and tried to use a small pin but had to go up to 25ga to be able to keep the needle on.
The last time I ordered slin pins, I ordered tuberculin syringes by mistake.
They're made the same stupid way. No Leur lock, just the external taper of the syringe mating with the internal taper of the socket of the needle. Quickly learned to seat them with a little extra force prior to use.
