Heavy metal and hard rock with plenty of bass and clear lyrics, for the most part.

    Audioslave
Bad wolves zombie (prime example of my lifting music)
    Korn
    Ffdp
    Styx
    Couple eminiem
    Couple dmx
    Hollywood undead
    Imagine dragons
    Devildriver SAIL
    Awolnation (like two)
    Limp bizkit (behind blue eyes)
    Blue October (hate me)
    Saliva (several)
    Ozzy (crazy train)
    Fozzy (judas)
Linkin park (bleed it out is good)
Project 86 my will be a dead man
    Fort minor (where'd you go)
Green day boulevard of broken dreams
Rob bailey (beast, hungry, live for, run this)
Seven nation army (glitch mob remix)
    Shinedown
    Seether

On some occasions stuff from adele and the like works. Depends on what is gonna set my adrenaline off that day best.

On a day where I am listening to Gary Allan or something of the sort I am usually my most volatile.
The bar is gonna move and PR's will be mashed.

    Every thing up to 2001.

Classic rock like Zeppelin and Hendrix, 3 dog night Janus Joplin, etc
    Old school 80s rap.
Mid 90s murder gangsta rap ( geto boys, spice 1, cbo, etc)
Nordic black metal (darkthrone, mayhem, etc)
Death/doom metal (crowbar, anal cunt, internal bleeding, etc)
Late 90s electronic techno type shit (rarely)

Most of the time though, I toss on youtube and workout with ifbb pros. Lol

Mostly classic rock to be honest.

    Today was my go-to, Slipknot.

Like Chevelle & Pantera a lot as well.

Love fusion between rap & metal: Cypress Hill, Powerflo.

I’ve been liking Type O Negative for cardio and stretching post workout. Kind of melodic, nice let down to the above.

Well I asked everyone but I didn't even post what I listen to.
Just a little background. I'm basically a country redneck and no I don't mean racist. Just a country boy. I drive a Chevrolet 4x4 and I have a lot of guns. I played the violin or fiddle when I was younger until my love of playing sports won over. Anyway I played classical and country music.
I grew up on country and rock & roll buuuuut I hit a stage of partying and got introduced to electronic trance music. I don't mean EDM. I mean electronic trance from the late 1990's till about 2004. Some dj's still play decent trance but not many.
So I like all types of music but when working out nothing gets me going like that banging trance which has an element of classical melodies mixed in.
Sorry for typing so much but yea this proves a country boy can like all types of music.

Country boy/Redneck? You mean fiddles, banjo’s and that stick in a bucket with a string for a bass?

Haha, Whitechapel has always been one of the more interesting deathcore bands, especially from a lyrical aspect. The Somatic Defilement album was a bit more straightforward “blood and guts”, but everything from This is Exile on took a different approach.

I fucking love me some Tool. I just wish Maynard would stop fucking with his Puscifer nonsense (and the last APC album was garbage compared to the masterpiece that was Thirteenth Step) and get some new shit done.

I was just messing with ya because 4:20 is known to be the time of day that people smoke and April 20'th is their day.(It's just a thing, believe me people who smoke don't wait until 4:20 every day lol) I had my own vices years ago but that was not one of em. I can't smoke the stuff no matter how good it is. Hope I'm not breaking any rules here. That's why I didn't actually say the name of it.

I listen to Lana del Rey even without gyno.

Katy Perry used to have some legitimately hilarious songs. I’m honestly curious as to whether or not You’re So Gay would wreck her career if it were released today, instead of a decade ago. Seems to be a lot more of what she was describing walking around these days.

I've honestly never heard the song but if someone released a song with that title today it wouldn't go over too well with the liberals.

The entire song is a mockery of everything that is the “Soy Boy” left.

Funny shit...I had never heard of her until watching american horror story. I heard Gods and monsters sang by an actor in the show and figured it was to good to have been made for that show so I searched it up.
Thats on my playlist as well

Oh yeah, Lana’s a legitimate artist among a mainstream full of fluffy plastic dogshit. Her fucking Ultraviolence album should have come with a complimentary loaded shotgun for the emo fucks I usually hear listening to her stuff.

Check out RVNT if you like FFAK and Architects. They’re some local-ish guys to me from Virginia Beach. Found them when they opened a show for Wage War and Gideon last summer.

Hey, lay off her, she loves my tattoo artist, lol.

I have an odd attraction to Crysta Bell after seeing her on Twin Peaks. Actually, I watch the video & mute the sound.
