Rookie question

I’m 41 and have been taking testosterone cypionate 150 mg a week for 6 weeks. My question is if my testosterone levels were normal and I’m taking this amount should I be taking any anti estrogen? And if so what do I need to get? I started taking test cyp because after Covid I’ve been super tired and very lazy. Since I’ve taken it I’ve felt so much better I just don’t want to grow boobs or anything. I would appreciate your help thank you 🙏.

150 is a pretty low dose. If you aren’t having any estrogen side effects you should be good. I think most wouldn’t touch an AI at that dose. But if I were you I would get lab work to see if you do indeed need trt. But then again if you feel great. Up to you.

Man I'm of the opinion better safe than sorry myself . I take aromasin 12.5 every 3 days on my cruise dose of 225 and have no issues .

This. Have AI on hand, but only use if symptoms, sides or blood work indicates it is a good idea. Even then, I would say first choice would be to do lower doses more frequently. This minimizes peaks and valleys that can cause spikes (including in estrogen).

I agree with everything except, “blood work indicates”. What is acceptable? I always question people when they want to use natty estrogen levels when on cycle.
You were spot on with leveling out the serum levels.
I know at the dosage of the OP, he is not going to win Mr O, but estrogen is also anabolic.
I am one of the lucky ones because I can let my estrogen go sky high and never use an AI. There is a threshold even with me and that is the onset of endema.

This isn't really a cycle, though. 150mg is TRT level doses.

In addition, OP acknowledged their newness to the game. First time through, I would err on the side of caution. They just don't have the first hand knowledge and experience yet to know when they are ok vs about to be in trouble.

But yeah, in general, the proper amount of AI is zero mgs.

Jupp. Take 200 mg DIM ed.. That will be perfect. No sides. The guy who wrote most of the stickies, uses it with his TRT.
I use it to, even at 500 mg test. But then u need more DIM. 6 to 800 mg.

It’s super easy to nuke your estrogen with AIs, as I’ve learned. I’d be careful before popping AIs eod as a preventative measure. Low E absolutely sucks.
