I'm in my thirties now and I've done about 10 or so cycles in the past. I've gained decent size in the 2 or 3 months while I'm on, but then I come off and lose most of it within about 2 months.
If I were willing to blast and cruise for the rest of my life then that would change things, but for the time being I just want to go on for a few months and then let my body take it naturally from there. This decision might change in the future but for now it's how I'm doing thing.
So if I'm considering another cycle, I shouldn't be too focused on how much I gain, but rather on how much I can keep.
So just playing around with numbers here, here are a few scenarios:
(1) I gain 10 lb and keep 80% of it = 8 lb
(2) I gain 20 lb and keep 40% of it = 8 lb
(3) I gain 30 lb and keep 27% of it = 8 lb
While I will admit it's cool to be a lot bigger for those 2 or 3 months even if I lose most of it later, I would aim for Scenario 1 here. Slow, steady gains that I keep.
So I've spent a few years thinking about different strategies for keeping muscle during and after PCT, and so here's what I'm pretty set on:
The idea here is that the 1 month of Anavar at the end will help my body adjust to its 'new normal' a bit better. It might make fuck all difference in the end and I might lose most of my gains again, but it's worth a try.After coming off all compounds, do 1 month of Anavar with minimal Testosterone, then do PCT
As for the actual compounds on the cycle, well I know some people are all for doing stuff like taking a gram of EQ per week before 'stacking' something on top of it, but really I know my body reacts to Trenbolone and I know how much I can take before suffering sides
so I could just keep it simple like this:
Dianabol Pills: 70mg per day for the first two weeks
Testosterone: Absolute minimum, approx. 100mg per week for the entire cycle
Trenbolone Acetate: 150mg EOD for 2 or 3 months
That should work well. I don't doubt that I'll look good after 2 months on Tren but the question is how will I look 2 months after stopping.
