    How many members are self employed vs. working for a paycheck..

    This should be interesting....

    I am self employed........... Network Security Consulting mostly for Banks in the 4 state area here in Minnesota... don't ya know.......

    I worked a start up... 370,000 shares.. valued at $1.25 ea during the "Angel investment rounds..

    sold most of it before the bubble bust... and lost 125,000 to bankruptcy by the company..

    Problem.. i didn't have enought stock to controll a board seat..

    Never again..

    Now i own 1/2 of everything..

    Life couldn't be any better..



    And yes i worked all my younger life punching a clock...... from age 13-37....

    I work for a company........ and I would never do it another way...... They pay me for vacation time, sick time, match my 401k 100% first 10% of what I put in, stock options, school tuition, I hardley ever work 40 hours a week always less........ al that and a fat salary.

    Oh yeah they pay me to post on here all day too

    Im 20... started a computer contracting company last year. Doing mostly POS sytems (point of sale... not piece of **** lol). Now i got a 6 figure income . Life is goood

    Me too....office out of my home, company car, etc. I see my manager about 1 time every 2 months. Sometimes have to travel, but, what can you do.

    I would love to have my own business....I just don't know what I would want to do. I have lots of things as hobbies that I do in my spare time. I wouldn't want to mess up the enjoyment of those hobbies....but I really don't think that I could make money at those hobbies either. What do you do?

    I have worked for years in sales. For five of those years I was a GM for a large mobile home company.I worked from 8 to 8, six days a week. My company filed BK and told me I had to move or get another job. I decided to open my own buisnes(mobile home lot). Now my life is perfect. I work about 35 hrs a week and make a pretty hefty amount of money. Hell I just paid the IRS 47k. BASTARDS BASTARDS BASTARDS.
