This even happens when I download videos from a site. Does anyone else
have this?? Does this only happen on dail up?? I downloaded 15 gigabytes.
Does anyone have this problem with a high speed connection after
downloading 10 gigabytes of videos?? Are the videos corrupting from the
small phone line connection?? Even after I get them off my computer, it is
still unstable. Sugestions?? Thanks.

You may be running out of hard drive space. The less room the hard drive has, the more info it was to process, and the slower your computer. It could be a mutiple of things. You could have outdated or no drivers required for that video. You could have spyware and viruses. You could also have insufficient ram (Memory) Take all these things into consideration.

It could be 1 of 22 things. Old computer, bad files, bad internet download, bad internet connection, bad driver software, bad hardware such as video card not being able to support the requested task such as viewing the file, might need to DEFRAG your drive cause the computer might have to jump around the drive looking for all the pieces of the file or supporting files.
Im thinking its just time to defrag or you need to upgrade your comp.
Just save your favorite files and PARTITION and FORMAT your drive.
Oh yeah. GET THE HELL OFF DIAL UP and get out of that cave you live in.

I defragged. My computer is just over 1 year old. I have 9 gigabytes of free space left. I have 512 ramm memory. I already ran Norton anti virus and Spybot. Thanks for the replies. Bump for more info.Originally Posted by bermich
