    cheap airline tickets

    hey fellas'
    Where is the cheapest place to get airline tickets? Anyone have any secrets that could help me out. I need dirt cheap tickets or close to it.

    dude.......... way too many ways to get that........

    it is most dependant on where you are going, and the time of year........ are you near a major airport that is a hub going to where you want to go.

    dealing directly with the airline's travel agent.... not the one you call on the phone, but a travel agent.. is always the best for me......

    and yes i have used priceline, watch...... and all the rest....

    I always go shopping for airline tickets in the internet. you can go to google and type in airline ticket bargains and a myriad of choices will pop up. just take your time and surf and iam pretty sure something will pop up. good luck.

    Expedia.com is my standby...though i usually check orbitz, hotwire and priceline as well...expedia has always been my fav though...prices are just as good (sometimes great) and extremely easy to use.

    Always check if Southwest airlines flies out of your area and to where you're going. They don't have the most hubs out there but they have great prices and aren't on most big search results because of their limited destinations. southwestairlines.com

    me and my girl got a vegas weekend a while back from travelocity.com for $224 each. included 4 days, 3 nights hotel at the excalibur and airfare both ways.

    thanks for the input. I am flying out of Des Moines Iowa to Pensecola Florida. I know if I could get to Omaha they would be cheaper but renting a car or paying storage fees has its own disadvantages.
