Considering that mealticket openly disrespected him first (post 46), I can't say I wouldn't have done the same. Now maybe because mealticket's a mod there he's allowed to do that.

I think that msci is a good board. I've posted there a few times, and have nothing against mealticket. But if a mod treated me like that when all I was doing was trying to share knowledge and help people, I'd be pissed and want to bitch about it to my friends too.

Ha, I can assure you that is NOT the case, and he's now very well aware if there was any doubt in his mind.

If he thought that for some twisted reason, he most certainly knows how to behave now. Doesn't really have a choice, seeing that a moderator shouldn't defame/ridicule another moderator in a public medium, ever. That is the first rule of being a moderator, as it gives the board a very negative image. Not good for board prosperity and longevity. I was victim of that, and yes, I had a plethora to say about it. I let the powers that be handle it, and 2 hours later, problem solved.

About the post here, Daman1 was upset and fed up. If you were him, I believe you would understand. Having him post this new thread here clearly shows me he knows what he did was no better than what the person he is defending himself from was doing.

well maybe i should have been more clear. mealticket was in the wrong by his words and daman was in the right and acted mature by not attacking back. no, mods there arent allowed to bash at will. we were taking care of the matter with mealticket then daman opened that thread.

Well, yes and no. If mealticket had just been a member then I'd agree. But he's a mod, and mods are supposed to be representatives of a board and enforce board policy. When a member does something inappropriate it reflects on him. When a mod does it, it *also* reflects on the board. I don't know if anyone told daman that things were being taken care of or not. I can only go by what I've read in the thread, and no one called out mealticket for what he did. If a mod had treated me like that on another board and no one spoke up and told me that's not how things work there, then *yes* I'd question the integrity of the board. There are boards out there like that (ever been to EF?)

Like I said, I think msci is a good board with good people. But depending on the circumstances I can see where daman was coming from.
