I can understand that. I usually.use.my Smythe machine for that. I set the safeties so I won't crush myself if I crap out and just go until I can go no further and then either rest pause or quickly drop some weight and lather,rinse, and repeat.
It would be nice to have the occasional assist at the failing point and get the elusive "one more rep" thing going.
