    Hmmmm.... I'm just not sure how much I dislike direct impingement too. Apparently AR's are also more accurate, but less tolerant to dirt. Not that I'll be dragging it commando-style through the mud, but I like to think I could.

    AK's are just too inaccurate with shitty sights for me.

    Too bad we don't have HK 416's here. Then I'd have my problem solved.

    I'll have to look more into that gas piston design. I think the 416 used something like that borrowed from some other HK battle rifle.
