Look at the first post in this thread. There are two pictures that clearly indicate the correct spot. Anywhere within the red box noted on the second pic is fine.

Click on each pic for a larger version.

As far as angle, just inject perpendicularly to the spot on the skin. I usually go in on a slight angle, as noted in my post, but perpendicular is fine.

From what I've read your not suppose to go all the way in. From what I understand your suppose to leave enough in case the needle breaks off, but what I want to know is how much should you leave out on a 1.5g needle?

I use a 1.5 for every injection. I inject into my bis and tris a lot. Occasionally i'll go all the way in by accident. Sometimes it freaks me out, cause it sure would suck to have a 1.5 inch needle stuck in your arm... how would u get it out?

On the one you gave us basket it sounds like its more towards the upper-outer portion of your ass, on the pic in the websire you gave, it looks like it says its more towards the side or on your waist??? I'm confused, anyome have a decent pic of exactly where to shoot at??/

if you have a 1.5 inch needle 22-23 gauge and hitting the upper outter quadrant, is there a remote possibility that you could manage to miss an intramuscular injection completely?

you have one sciatic nerve per leg and its on your medial side ( towards the midline) that is why you inject to the lateral (outer qaundrant)
