Nice fish collection, I like the three dinosaur bichirs I have. You should probably check out monsterfishkeepers.com some time, alot of stuff on bichir and other exotic fish.

a buddy of mine hase private fish store thing and gets em wholesale frm da amzons ud love em he's got all the crazy freshwater zotics even some Fn Mazin Lung Fish!

I should have explained more about the website, it's a good learning site where others compare fish and talk about equipment and feeding techiniqes btw are any pics of dinasour bichirs in this thread, mine are only 6-7" now and I heard they get up to 12" and thick.

get an endlicheri cognicus they are by far the most pregistoric!!
otherwise get an ornate they are the most decorative and get over 2ft

I have one of those too, it's my favorite one. He grew the quickest of of any of them. He is also the most aggressive, I feed mine cut up fish and ground up beef heart(that's a pain in the ass, you have to carefully clean all the fat and connective tissue before you grind it up.)

i keep about 10-12 2-4 in minnows in tank at all times so they can snack at nite then feed them 3-4 times a day alternatin between beef heart and blood worms (Frozen individual cubes of both foods)
beefheart fo protein/fat and worms for Bvitamins and others vits/minerals/nutrients
u needs to buy the sally's sanfrancisco bay stuff MSke ur life easier

and yes the albinos ARE obnoxious!!!!! they are the only bichers i have that my Clown knife will snap at he 20+inches and Lazy!
