I can only imagine how scared the kid was having someone that much bigger than them go up and kick them, kid was probably terrified. As for the tard, he seems well dressed and owns a cell phone, hes smart enough to know kicking a child is not right.
Never thought I'd see something like that in my life.
I wonder what happend after.Police -court-lawyers.You know.Anger management.Probation.
I agree with you but I also think the dad did not notice the kid had DS.
Is it justified? Let me put it this way, if someone older and bigger than my daughter kicks her in my presence I will knock him the fvck out, no matter if its a man, woman, teenager, old person, etc... but a "tard"... i don't know, I think i would just push him against the wall or something.
Oh yea i didnt think of that jigga.I laugh every time i come to the ar lounge.
Yea i would of KO'd his ass too. Seriously, if i have a mean dog i keep it on a leash in public. If you have a out of control child kicking retard then keep him on a leash!
There is your justification
Probably would of done the same thing, or at very least kicked the guy in the shins.

I worked with the mentally challenged throughout highschool as part of a class I had. Most of them do not have the mental capacity further than a five year old. Most do know right from wrong but some lack the ability to control impulses even if they know that its wrong and there could be consequences.
i would have done the same thing
100% Justified! The man was protecting his young child and you don't stop and to see if someone is retarded or not, you simply react as a good parent or guardian.
It was simply just an unfortunate event, but the man was in the right.

This is Behavior Mod.101 for the kid with DS. I guarantee the kid with DS will not kick a toddler again with out the association of fear of getting his head knocked in. DS kids have a tough time understanding most things but they do understand the pain principle.
I wouldn't have knocked him out if i'd had time to notice the kid had DS, some of you posters seem to think this makes no difference. I find that really hard to believe. Even the father, after smack the kid to the floor damn hard, seemed to realise the real situation and chilled.
That was a very aggressive reaction by the father but it's justified. The DS kid will think twice about doing that again and the toddler knows that he is protected by the father.
