I certainly hope not. They weren't around when I was like that but at least I have the experience of being a fvkup and I am better prepared to deal with it than most people, especially my parents - they were clueless. I think people who have suffered a lot in their life are a lot more resilient and can handle stress and unfortunate circumstances much better than say - someone who cruised through life with no problems - then something happens and they just fall apart.

My son is 10 and very rambunctious I can definately see having problems with him in high school but my daughter (8) is just an angel, I don't think I'm going to have much trouble with her, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
