He claimed polar ice caps are increasing and so are polar bear populations. Clearly incredibly wrong. He's an idiot. Go find video of Steve Ballmer, microsoft ceo, talking about how every apple product ever will be a flop. Good call there Stevie. The weather channel guy is a weathercaster, not a scientist, and hasn't been with the weather channel in 30 years.

Absolutely correct! There is a big scandal where the numbers were distorted, and it isn't conspiracy theory, it's plain fact - there is a bunch of incorrect, in fact, blatantly fraudulent data in addition to the 97% b.s. But he isn't interested in FACTS, he is interested in dogma, like the other 97% of political party followers.

Man, after reading this thread, I fear that I may soon join the ranks of the guys in Obs' listing of passed bodybuilders. I'm pretty sure it gave me cancer of the AIDS.
The emissions crap particularly amused me. As someone who works in an industry that is heavily reliant on petroleum, I just keep shaking my head. Our newer model trucks produce less horsepower, get worse fuel mileage, and don't even get me started on the clusterfuck that is regen systems. That's the big ugly elephant in the room that most seem to ignore. Commercial vehicles make for a huge chunk of the nation's oil consumption, and all of the regs passed in the last decade and a half have done nothing but make it worse.
